We were expecting a litter from Capri a few days ago and sadly she lost the litter. :( She had one big kit that got stuck and she retained the others. I was able to help her get that big kit out, but it was not alive by the time she kindled. I'm just happy Capri is doing well and still healthy. I'm also happy we were able to get the big kit out of her. That could have really ended badly. She was pretty miserable and had a hard time for a couple days, but she's a real trooper. I think she'll be just fine now. ;)
SO....I am rebreeding her to Elizabeth's Little Lions "Alfred" and we should get a very nice litter from her this breeding. I will let you know when she palpates positive and when the next litter is due. In the meantime....I just bought 2 very nice little buns to add to my stock. Pictures to follow....
